Andrea Bertolini has joined Risi Competizione for the Sebring round of the United SportsCar Championship next month and will co-drive alongside former Formula 1 driver Giancarlo Fisichella and Pierre Kaffer.

The 41-year-old is a four-time FIA GT1 World Champion and currently acts as a Ferrari and Maserati factory driver. The Italian has previously raced with Risi Competizione, notably in 2005 in a Maserati MC12 when he competed in the American Le Mans Series, taking two podiums and nine top five finishes.

"I always have nice memories of Risi Competizione because it is a really strong and professional Ferrari team," Bertolini said. "I feel to be in my U.S. family because I know all the guys and Giuseppe [Risi, team owner] for a long time and the atmosphere is special. I will be in the car with two really strong and good friends of mine, with Giancarlo and Pierre, so we have everything on top."
