Porsche maintained its supremacy on the first day of the FIA World Endurance Championship Prologue after Neel Jani topped the night session timesheets with the fastest lap of the day of 1m 37.220s.

As the darkness took over the Paul Ricard circuit the WEC teams got its first official test run at night. The Porsche team continued to dominate the LMP1 category after the team finished quickest in the earlier day sessions.

The number 17 sister Porsche 919 Hybrid finished second with a 1m 38.635s to lock out the top two positions.

Audi maintained its position directly behind its German rivals, setting third and fourth best times of the evening session. The number seven Audi R18 e-tron Quattro driven by Loic Duval nipped ahead of his team-mate Benoit Treluyer in the number eight car.

Defending champions Toyota completed the top six, with Anthony Davidson setting a quick lap of 1m 40.378s and Stephane Sarrazin one second behind.

KCMG once again finished top of the LMP2 category, with Matthew Howson notching up a 1m 47.456s in the ORECA 05-Nissan.

AF Corse Ferrari claimed top spot in the GTE-Pro class with James Calado's 1m 59.009s, as Aston Martin Racing earned the spoils in the GTE-Am category thanks to Stuart Hall's 2m 00.582s.

The Prologue continues on Saturday (28th March) for a second and final day of testing ahead of the 2015 WEC season.
