Harry Tincknell has made a return to JOTA Sport for a second season in the European Le Mans Series, which will run alongside his Nissan NISMO WEC commitments.

The agreement came to fruition after Nick Yelloly split with the JOTA Sport team to pursue his GP2 drive with Hillmer Motorsports. Tincknell, who secured victory at the Le Mans 24 Hour race in the LMP2 class in just his first appearance, will combine his ELMS season with his new Nissan factory deal.

Tincknell was given permission by the Japanese manufacturer to race in the ELMS with JOTA Sport's Gibson 015S-Nissan after they announced the new GT-R LM NISMO wouldn't be ready to race until Le Mans in June.
