Team SARD Morand has announced it will run a reduced World Endurance Championship campaign with just one LMP2 entry after a team buy-out fell through.

The Swiss squad confirmed an agreement with Kairos Technologies has been terminated and due to financial difficulties they will race one Morgan Evo LMP2 car for the remainder of the WEC season. SARD Morand had been forced to skip the WEC opener, the 6 Hours of Silverstone, due to the lack of funding.

"Team SARD Morand maintains its entry in the LMP2 class of the 6 Hours of Spa Francorchamps WEC and the other WEC events of the 2015 season," a team statement read.
