Dunlop will be represented by two teams in the LMP1 class of the World Endurance Championship and the Le Mans 24 Hours after confirming ByKolles Racing will use its rubber.
The British manufacturer is the dominant force of tyre used in the LMP2 class, but earlier this week announced a return to LMP1 in a deal with the privateer Rebellion Racing team.
However, it has now confirmed its presence will be doubled up by the ByKolles Racing team, which will fit Dunlop rubber to its CLM P1/01 car.
"We had a successful test session with Dunlop during the winter that convinced us to make the change,” said operations manager Boris Bermes. “We have great experience in working with the Dunlop team in past years in both LMP2 and DTM and we are confident that we can build the same successful relationship in LMP1."
