9 Hour V de V Proto Endurance: DB Autosport double la mise

Daniel Bassora's team repeated their performance seen at Paul Ricard, as once again they locked out the front row of the grid. Paired with David Monclair and Jordan Perroy, the boss of #21 Norma M20 FC had a small advantage over the #22 machine, entrusted to Dannielou / Delafosse / Petersen who currently sit third in the championship.

The team from Bourgogne were over the moon to have beaten rivals TFT in qualifying; the strong line-up of Vilarino / Ferté / Illiano, associated behind the wheel of the #2 Norma, will start on the second row, next to the first Ligier JS 53 Evo 2 of the pack of #17 IDEC Sport Racing.

Victorious at Le Castellet, CD Sport's #32 Norma rounds up the top five (Maulini / Bole Besançon / Foubert) while Equipe Palmyr's car #40, entrusted to Zollinger / Mondolot / Thuner sit alongside them. Behind them, first of the Prestige class runners is the n°5 TFT prototype, driven by Bazaud / Thirion / Caillon.

4 Hour GT / Touring cars / LM P3 Endurance: GT / Touring cars: AB Sport Auto on top

The team with two Renault R.S.01 proved themselves today by setting the fastest lap times in the private practice session, and again in the first free practice session. Credit must be awarded to the team and drivers of car #45, in the hands of trio Thybaud / Proust / Jousse, who were quicker than their rivals in the #70 Viper GT3 R of ANTeam and drivers B. Stucky / Yerly.

Both Ferraris were next on the timesheets, battling for 3rd position, with the advantage finally going to the #51 458 GT3 of team AF Corse, entrusted to Cordoni / Zanuttini / Montermini, ahead of Visiom's new, magnificent #1 488 GT3, driven by Pagny / Perrier / Bouvet.

LM P3 / PFV: Ginetta on equal terms with Ligier

The two constructors entered in the prototype class shared leadership in the first two practice sessions. First to top the timesheets was an LMP3, the #93 Ligier JSP3 of team N'Race and drivers Fontaine / Decultot / Perroy, before a PFV took its place in the second session, the #57 Ginetta G57 of Simpson Motorsport, in the hands of Tomlinson and Simpson.

The British team were closely followed both times by G57 #55 belonging to team CWS Recycling and drivers Robertson and White. In the Ligier camp, second place went to Graff's #888 machine, managed by Trouillet / Rosselo / Dagoneau and in the second session, the n°13 Inter Europol Competition prototype of Smiechowski and Hippe took their place.

Single-Seater: Peroni leads the way again

Comfortably placed at the top of the Challenge's standings, Alex Peroni confirmed his status as leader after setting the fastest lap time in qualifying, on a circuit that brings together more than 25 Formula Renault 2.0 this weekend at Motorland-Aragon.

The young Australian may still be discovering the Spanish track and French rival Gilles Heriau (Formula Motorsport) sits at just three tenths of a second from the TS Corse candidate. Heriau's time was under threat from Grégoire Saucy (GSK Grand Prix) and Alexey Chuklin (MP Motorsport), who returns to the series this weekend after missing out on Paul Ricard.

The Russian driver starts ahead of the young Belgian Gilles Magnus, who showed a promising debut to his career at Le Castellet with Zig Zag. Erwin Creed and Thomas Neubauer follow next, both racing under Formula Motorsport's banners, then Antoine Robert (RC Formula).
