BMW has officially launched its new M8 GTE car for the World Endurance Championship at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

After announcing it would be running a dovetail dual campaign in WEC and the IMSA SportsCar Championship from 2018, the German marque had teased images of the new car since beginning testing at the Lausitzring and Barcelona in recent weeks.
