A busy 2012 season lies ahead for Oliver and Lando Norris.

The pair will tackle the Super One and Formula Kart Stars championships in the Junior Rotax and Mini Max classes, racing for RL Racing Department Ltd, who were MiniMax Champions and JuniorMax Vice Champions last season.

"The choice to go with RL was made by the boy's management team," explained their PR agent, Adam Proctor, to Crash.net. "Steve Armstrong's team has been winning Rotax championships for the last five years. It allows the boys to be in a team environment and be pushed by very good team mates."

When the brothers were signed, Armstrong told the FKS website: "Lando is graduating from the cadet ranks after marking himself as a genuine star and proven race-winner in Comer. Oliver is making the unusual step of entering the Junior Max fray after competing in KF3. He's an exciting driver and definitely one to watch."

Oliver, 15, noted: "My aim for the whole season is to try and finish in the top five of both national series. But, I definitely have a chance to go for the titles this year. Both series have good calendars and the tracks we will be racing on are all good. I always go well at PF International so I'm looking forward to the Super One round there later in the year. Nutts Corner in Northern Ireland will be great to race on too."

Younger brother Lando, 12, added: "I want to go out and learn everything I can and do the best I can and progress myself this season. My main aim is to improve each time I go out on track."

The brothers will begin testing next month and will do several club events before the championships begin in April.
