V8 » Bathurst 1000 - Qualifying times

Oh Dear Mr Bayliss!

Seeing as he's never raced in the car or at Bathurst he's actually doing ok. If he can keep the car out of the wall he'll still beat a third of the field.

is it cheeting if bayliss uses the ducati

Bayliss will pick up about 8 secs per lap once he throws a few Ducati Corse stickers on there!!!!

So, what can we deduce from these times?

Racing a WSBK is far easier than driving a production car with some 'go fast bits'.
I might just run a customer Yamaha for Marcus Ambrose in the 2010 WSBK season, he should win by miles.

Woah dam I was expecting bayliss to be a bit better thn that But I guess it was his 1st time at track but he is still the man!!

They should have tried to get Bayliss into one of the konica series cars to get more laps into him.

He said in an interview he had only managed 24 laps in the car.

And there was next to no chance for the lap record to be broken with the crap weather at the mountain today, Murphy said he had a pucker moment going across the top and I'll bet he wasn't the only one.
