Having wrapped up the season, the Glenfords team is yet to finalise its driver line-up for 2008, but will make an announcement in the coming weeks.
"It's been a difficult weekend and maybe we under-estimated the emotional strain on John and the team, but now the round is behind us," team boss Paul Cruickshank commented, "Overall, 2007 has been a positive building season and, as the youngest team in the paddock, we have regularly demonstrated that we have the car speed to run in the midfield. We moved up two places in the team's championship standings as compared to last year, so it's good to be off the bottom of the table after our rookie season.
"While it has been a great pleasure to play a role in the final chapter in John's career, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavours, we will now focus forward on 2008 and beyond with a new driver."
