Jacques Villeneuve could be set for a surprising career move in 2009 with the Supercheap Auto Racing team having expressed a desire to run the Canadian alongside Russell Ingall this season.

Any deal would be dependent on enough sponsorship being found to run the former F1 champion and Villeneuve agreeing a deal – but he seems keen enough to consider a move into the V8 arena.
