V8 » Pirtek returns in Stoner V8 deal


The Pirtek name will return to V8 Supercars as part of the deal that sees Casey Stoner head for the development series in 2013

i believe stoner will be able to put v8 super cars out there on a global scale and lift its interest as a great sport.
even if he doesn't do too good the v8 series is going to be spread around as the world watches to see how he goes.
personally i think he is going to catch on pretty quick and be very competitive.

At least on the V8 supercar section of this website we're unlikely to see the puerile comments often posted about Casey by the Valentino Rossi fanboys within the bike page.
Good luck to Casey as this series enable him to enjoy his racing and still be with his young family. Who knows, in a year or two we may see him dicing withe the likes of Whincup and Lowndes?
Best off out of MotoGP as it's only going one way, down!

'V8supercars' is already an internationally recognised series... I dont think much will change in those terms, based on the past.

Casey is much happier in his new life, I am pleased for him and his extented family.

This is his dream, and almost all of Australian dream. He made his dream comes true, that a real man should do. Enjoying life like he should be. Good luck Casey, we love you
