Roccoli returns to WSS grid again
Massimo Roccoli will line up on the World Supersport Championship grid at the Nurburgring with his fourth different team of the season after agreeing terms to join PATA by Martini Yamaha for the remainder of the year.

The experienced Italian, a veteran of 87 WSS starts over seven seasons, began the year on the Bike Service WTR Ten 10 Yamaha team, but was forced to step down when Bike Service split with WTR five rounds into the campaign.

Since then, Roccoli has taken in one-off rides with Yakhnich Yamaha at Misano and Kuja Honda at Silverstone, as well as a Moto2 ride at Mugello with SAG Bimota, but this new deal with PATA by Martini will see him finish the year on the same bike.

Roccoli, who has one WSS victory to his name, replaces youngster Dino Lombardi, the Italian having scored just two points over the ten races so far.

Good luck, he was good on Yamaha machinery. Shame about Lombardi, that guy spent two whole seasons with the same team in ST600, but if results not come, loyalty worths nothing.
