Schacht ‘excited’ by WSS graduation
Teenager Alex Schacht says he is excited to be stepping up to the World Supersport Championship in 2013 after a successful apprenticeship in the European Superstock 600 Championship.

Schacht will join the experienced Imre Toth in his eponymous Racing Team Toth outfit in 2013 aboard a privateer Honda CBR600R, the Dane joining Michael van der Mark, Nacho Calero, Luca Salvadori and Matt Davies in graduating from the Superstock 600 series.

Having finished fourth overall in 2012, 19-year-old Schacht is confident he has joined the right team to make an impression in what is expected to be a particularly competitive field.

"I am delighted and extremely excited and proud to have signed for Toth Racing" commented Alex. "They have a huge amount of experience and success in both the GP and WSBK paddocks and I know that they are the right team for me to make my debut appearance in World Championship competition."
