I can see the thinking behind this move, but it will do nothing for Latvala''s confidence. Poor bloke must be gutted.

Im so glad HQ made some solid changes to keep the title, just as I said last week, its better to let Duval drive for BP so BP can beat Citroen than to have Stobart beat Subaru. I think this is very smart tactics by Ford, Seb is just as hard to beat on Gravel these days let alone the black stuff, and if your gonna beat Citroen you gotta have a solid maximum plan, Ford should have extensive testing now for both A/B teams as its not gonna be easy to get back infront of Citroen, Latvala probably understands only to well the importance, also Stobart should swap Henning back to Stobart and Matt to Munchi's if they wanna beat Subaru aswell. This is a posative step and exciting time for the sport.

Wow I couldn't beleive Malcolm did this, but it is a very move. It will help the Ford fight against Citroen and at the sametime put some heat and notice for Francois' career. He haven't had any major crash in his outing for Citroen last year and the Ford so he's driving very well. I think Latvala should be mature enough to understand he decision and shouldn't felt bad at all, his place in Ford manu team is firm I think.
