Well, tactics are part of the game as well. If you look to the pragmatic side, it is actually a good thing. The tactics employed by Ford kept the championship alive for a long time.

Yes I dont agree with the tactics used either, but then I also dont agree with the way it used to be run, where the best driver got the best road position on the start of the 2nd and 3rd days.
At least with tactics it has made it a bit more exciting, think how many rallies we had this year where the fight went down to the last day. Last year we usually knew who was going to win by half way through the Saturday and sometimes by the end of Friday.

Not when the FIA declares "These are the rules....." knowing full well that it will lead to teams using tactics.
It may not seem very sporting, but if any driver has the chance to use these rules to win a rally, they would be silly not to.

John... Solberg determined?????? a joke

As far as he is not capable of setting up his car, he'll never win again . I will bet my money on a determined Atknison

well I say it yet again, so long as the FIA say "these are the rules" tactics will be imployed, this is not a local spud sack race, this costs the front teams tens of millions per season to compete, there are very smart and calculating people at the head of these teams so they will look at the "whole game plan" before each event, Citroen and Ford have both used tactics this year, e.g. Loeb gained big time in New Zealand using tactics - which helped him tie up the title earlier, but hey !! Thats the rules. No fault lyes with the teams, only the FIA for encouraging tactics with the way the rules are written. I agree however, I would prefer to see a Ford one-Two with no tactics on Wales G.B.
