This must be the worst and least inspiring WRC calendar I have seen:

No Monte, lost due to the hideous 'rotation' idea to the IRC, and unlikely to come back in the foreseeable future.

Jordan, Turkey, BULGARIA !

A late start, 14th Feb, and then almost a month before each of the first three events....

No wonder they were keen to get GB back. Come on Mr Long, bring back the classics in their original formats !

14 February Sweden
7 March Mexico
4 April Jordan
18 April Turkey
9 May New Zealand
30 May Portugal
10 July Bulgaria (Saturday finish)
1 August Finland
22 August Germany
12 September Japan
3 October France
24 October Spain
14 November Great Britain

I agree with Sam

I cant help thinking that next year is looking pretty s*** on paper

I was hoping to go to Argentina next year but now they have approved Bulgaria instead, I have already been there twice and the place is a dump and the people try and rip you off everywhere you go.

this is not good for our Sport at all, Monte has been arguably one of the Sports finest and most challenging Rallies, so why is it still absent ??

We should also draft in Norway as one of the full time anual Rallies like Finland and GB, the Sport needs Two Snow events, more interesting !

Finally Germany ?? I was never impressed with this event, it looks like some low budget single venue Rally.

Rally Acropolis with a 56 years history is excluded too. Shame on you mr Long. How much money did Bulgaria give you to get them on the WRC calendar?

"historic" rallyes every year:
monte
argentina
safari
1000 lakes
rac
acropolis
for the other events i think rotation system can be a good solution...

Surely to have a WORLD rally championship, you must travel the world. I agree with previous comments about the Iconic events being present each year, but surely NZ needs to be on that list, The best roads, furthest from home.We missed it this year and let me say its the first time in a long time the championship has not reached our far off shores . :p
