Loeb, never in doubt. Pure class.

However, next won't be so easy. Depsite not managing the stated objective of a podium in the second half of the season or even the stated objective for Rally GB that being a top 5 finish it's all set for legend Matt Wilson next year.

It's all coming together so nicely. Years 1 - 4 of the 5 year plan are complete with a single fourth place finish in Japan 2007 being his best result. That is the perfect springboard for a title charge in 2010. Is Billy Hill taking bets for 2010 yet? Get in soon before the odds shorten.

hirvonen was on such a charge i saw i was at walters arena but really bad luck. hopefully the wrc era will end with loebs stranglehold being broken

Congratulations to mikko too! he would have won the champ if ford had done in italy the same strategy the citroen did in poland, australia and spain (or better if citroen hadn't done tactics in those rallyes)

I would have loved Mikko to have won but some things are not to be, hope someone can beat loeb before he retires, if Hirvonen didn't do it this year it will likely to be the Ford of Matthew Wilson next year

I'd also like to see Loeb swap to a Ford just to see really how good he is, i think whichever car he drives in the WRC he will be topdog... apart from Wilson next year of course....
