You're getting there Mikko. Been very impressive this year, especially the improved tarmac pace.

It'll help if Jari can be a stronger team mate. Only for Poland.....................

WRC » Hirvonen: It will be different in 2010

Mikko Hirvonen: Overall I'm frustrated to lose by so little, but happy I was able to fight for the title with a six-time world champion until one stage from the end of the season.

Can't see it myself. I think Mikko was lucky to get that close to Seb. Won't happen again.

There is nothing Sebastien can do about it

Mikko can drive just as fast on all surfaces, although Mikko has only beaten Loeb on a few tarmac stages

Overall i think Mikko has a good chance in 2010, assuming Loeb wins the 4 Tarmac Rallies Mikko has to win at least 5 Gravel Rallies unless loeb makes more mistakes again next season

He just needs to be more dominant winning more stages than Loeb per Rally. Its all in the Head and thats where Loeb is stronger, Mikko needs to be more determined like Loeb is

Loebs dedication to win and Mastery over his C4 Make him tough to beat, Mikko has to be more like Loeb in that respect, he has the skill. I hope he finds the missing ingrediant

Yep, I think it will be different next year as well Mikko. Unfortunately I think it will be different in that Seb will have the championship wrapped up well before the crews return to Wales in 2010.

4 asphalt rallies that Seb will dominate. And to be honest when watching last weekend, I expected and wanted Hirvonen to blow Loeb away on gravel, it looked like Loeb was always in control of the situation, and always had extra in reserve if needed.

Seb Loeb 2010 WRC Champion. Can I put a bet on now?

It's obvious though that a big part of the success is the C4 itself. Shows in how Sordo is so quick and Solberg went so well straight away.

Hopefully M-Sport can find a bit more in the Focus. Rally GB isn't a fair reflection on the relative pace. Maybe his first title decider just got to Mikko a little but he'll be back.

You are right Blueoval!
reviewing the holl season,Mikko didn't win a rally in a strait fight. He only won 4 rallies because Seb did a mistake or had flat tyre.....
Now looking at the rally GB videos,Mikko is driving the car to the absolute limit and can't beat Loeb,Just in 2 stages he lost 20+ seconds. So the problem is in the car,not in Mikko's driving.

Next year whon't be any diferent,Mikko will win if Seb does a mistake or has a problem.I just hope that Sordo would permit him to win a rally or two and Peter will on the pace, then we will have a cracking 2010 season.
