Andreas Mikkelsen claimed a popular maiden IRC win on the Rally of Scotland, confirming Skoda as manufacturers' champion for 2011.

Great win by Andreas and it has been on the way for a while - surely the drive of the rally was by Craig Breen though -- private entry, has only done a couple of IRC events and given the problems they had its an unbelievable result, still cannot understand them not winning the Colin McRae Trophy,

Mikkelsen will be the favorite to win the title(totaly deserved because he showed he has the speed on both tarmac and gravel unlike some others) unless Hanninen is going to Cyprus and Kopecky chances are nearly over
