Munchi's team leader, Luis-Perez Companc has crashed out of the Wales Rally GB on the opening test of the day.
Companc, who had been running 13th overall in his Ford Focus RS WRC06, went off near the end of the 28.89 kilometre-run through Brechfa 1, SS14. He was unable to continue and retired from the leg.
"We went off at the finish and stoved the car in at the drivers side after hitting a tree or a pile of logs," he explained. "I'm not sure what happened. We have bent part of the roll-cage."
