The
FIA has published a revised entry list for the 2012
FIA World Rally Championship on the eve of Rally Sweden.
Following MINI's decision to end the factory deal with Prodrive [see separate story -
here], the 'MINI WRC Team' entry has been deleted and replaced with the 'WRC MINI Team Portugal', which amalgamates the 'Armindo Araujo
World Rally Team' and the 'Palmeirinha Rally' team of Paulo Nobre.
Other changes to the list published back in January, includes the inclusion of two new outfits, namely the 'Adapta
World Rally Team' (which will run Mads Ostberg) and the 'Citroen Junior WRT' (which will run Thierry Neuville).
The 'Go Fast Energy WRT' of
Henning Solberg and Matt Wilson has yet to be included as a WRC Team.
The full list, as of February 8, is as follows, although it should be noted that registrations remain open until March 27.
