Vote for the top WSBK rider of 2008!

We've already asked you to vote for your top British Superbike and MotoGP star of the year, but now is your chance to decide who gets the honour of being your star World Superbike rider of 2008.

Grids that touched the thirty mark at times, eight different race winners and typically close competition, the World Superbike Championship was the home of some truly excellent motorcycle racing in 2008 – but who is most deserving of the WSBK Rider of the Year title?

By clicking the link below, you can give each driver on the grid a mark out of ten, with the highest scorer taking the spoils. We will then do a top ten countdown leading to your number one choice.

We've given you a large selection of riders to choose from, but here a few people that might be worth considering:

Troy Bayliss: Won a third title in his final season of racing – fairytales don't get much better than this story!
Troy Corser: Mr Consistency had 13 podiums to his name, although not one of them was a win
Noriyuki Haga: A multiple winner, 'Nitro Nori' may have been inconsistent, but he was never anything less than spectacular
Ryuichi Kiyonari: Rookie rider starred on familiar ground with three wins out of four races on British soil.
Max Neukirchner: Proved he should have been given a factory ride a long time ago with two well-deserved wins.

That is just what we think though – it is your opinion that really counts, so CLICK HERE and get voting!

BAYLISSIMO!!!! With honorable mentions to Max N. and Nitro Nori for their respective first half and second half of the season. I wonder how close it would've been if you took their points from their peak part of the season...
