OH!.....MY.....GOD!!!

How many times are they going to try messing about at bike racing.

you have to have something that is competitive straight off otherwise you are going to look stupid, as MV AUGUSTA and the FOGGY TEAM found out.
BMW dont make an attractive sports bike or an attractive anything come to think of it,
so stick to making hidious touring bikes.

Im all for as much competition as poss. but that dosn't include wobbling about at the back of the field.

I hope BMW sees this as a long term commitment and not just a speedy way to develop a 1000cc superbike

Great news having another manufacturer in the championship, I hope they do motogp as well. Good on yer and the best of luck BMW.

Hope there's no truth in the rumour that there riders will be wearing flip-up helmets, gortex jackets and flourescent sam brownes.

As far as sports bikes go then a zx9r could hardly be described as a looker, even in its day it wasn't exactly cutting edge was it Steve.

Are the rumours true that only riders over 45 will be able to race the bike (which will do 70mpg and only need servicing once a season?)...

Just kidding. Good for BMW... but personally I can't wait until Triumph are there too in a few years time...
