WSBK » Biaggi to GSE?

Speculation is rife regarding Max Biaggi and where he will be racing in 2008, after the four times 250cc world champion left Alstare Suzuki with, it seemed, nowhere to go.

With exception of JT, and he's gone now, all of the front runners are getting on in years.

A mouthwatering prospect, Biaggi v Bayliss!

Greg and Leon have already done WSBK and neither have exactly set it on fire. Perhaps they need a proven winner at that level to attract sponsorship.

If MAX isn't competitive right away, how long do you guys think it will take before MAX starts bitchin' & moaning about his DUC not being up to 'spec' like the Xerox boys?

Not like Dennis Noyes to get it wrong but the links above, and the comment from colin wright, make it sound like its far from a done deal.

So here's one for teh conspiracy theorists:

The GSE team boss, Darrl Healey, is also Bayliss's manager... Bayliss has found out about the Biaggi rumours and applied a bit of gentle pressure to both Ducati and Healey..

I think Troy's a legend, but he does seem to like weak team-mates. Ok Max wouldn;t have been a direct team-mate, but there would surely be a power struggle...
