Yeay!!! Well done Chris!! Kawasaki dumped on you in the past so you owe them nothing. You have been the top rider on the WSS Kawasaki by far and had to accept mid-pack finishes as the bike is not capable of better!
True, Paul Birds Honda may not be more than a mid-pack machine yet but some strong finishes, ahead of Gregorio, and who knows what doors could be opened up!
Well done mate!!

Bit like putting t7ts on a fish if you ask me, he was worse than sh7te last year in BSB, he's a good lad no doubt, but you'd be better putting his grandson on it... :)

Walker has always been good, not great, on the track. He's alienated two major factories now Suzuki and Kawasaki so I doubt a factory ride is ever coming his way again. He's set a pattern and shows a lack of professionalism. Kawasaki sacking him was done professionally while Walker's move, again, wasn't done professionally. You may applaud the move as quid pro quo move by Walker but rest assured he's the one on the short end of the stick now. This type of behaviour follows you and few managers are willing to take the risk on a also-ran esp. when justifying to sponsors is required. Enjoy the years of backmarker riding that will see his career end.

I suppose at the end of it all we arn't guna see walker around much longer, so why wobble around at the back of a 600 grid when you can be back on a more powerful, much more satisfying bike and on the WSB grid.... (scews my spelling) one more thing, hodgson woludn't do a better job than walker, theres been a number of opportunities for that primadonna and now even paul bird has ignored him, maybe hodgson thinks he deserves better than whats been on offer over the years, er NO.. please stay in AMA and soon you will have more compertition when Hayden & Hopper join you in the "i was good once" club..

In my view Walker has nothing to lose! He was going nowhere in SS. He may be going nowhere on the Bird bike, but at least he will get there quicker and have more fun doing it. :-). He may have handled the move badly but then Chris has always
handled most things badly. It is his way. Negative acts usually bring
negative results, but in this case I am not so sure. It is fairly obvious he will never get offered a decent WSBK ride, but there will still be a decent BSB
ride for him I''m sure - IF he makes a good impression here. Now he has
nothing to worry about except his racing, we may see a different
rider than the one we saw in 2007!

was his reason for not spilling the beans to his team, unless he has lost them!!:_(

I can only see this move as beneficial to Walker. He was going nowhere in SS. He may be going nowhere on the Bird bike, but he will certainly get there quicker and have more fun doing it.
He appears to have handled the move badly, but then Chris handles most things badly,
it is his way. He will never get a winning WSB ride now, so what has he got to lose,
apart from his balls apparently? (Can''t see that myself!). I will watch with interest, and wish him well.

Walker hasn't got much of a career left now,as there are alot more younger, faster & hungrier Brit riders out there now.

So although i don't condone Chris dumping his team mid season in favour for another ride, when you get to his point in his career, it will be his last throw of the dice for some glory, he might get another year or two in BSB once he's done at world championship level, but this is it for Chris.

I just wish people who can't find competitive rides who were once good riders would retire and let the young lads get on with it, look at Sean Emmett, he looks a bit pathetic now after some of the promising rides he had, riding round in some support race no-ones everheard of.
