With regards to what Sasha has posted, it is not wise to speculate at this time as to how he is doing. With regards to the coma, I have read that Craig has been put into a medically induced coma, but this is not always as bad as it may sound. even if there is a small amount of brain swelling this will usually be done to reduce the stress on the body and allow it to heal quicker. So please read nothing into this being done. This is quite a common practice and bears little relevance to the severity of injuries

Totally gutted for Craig, he was pushing so so hard to make up for the lack of straight line speed of his bike and was riding on the ragged edge and looked like he was pushing the bike to its limits just to stay in contention with Rea. As for the incident from what ive seen he lost it exiting clearways the bike highsided him off and then its hard to tell from the replay angles on tv but it appears he is hit by andrew pitt who was full steam ahead at the time. If that is so then Pitt must have hit Jones at about 100-130 mph upwards. . . . that is a scary to imagine let alone contemplate.
My thoughts and sympathies are with you and your family Craig, i pray for a speedy recovery for you.
