Well JT has gone up in my estimation no end, that was a very touching and human thing to do, well done James.

Even in America we morn the loss of CJ. I really enjoyed watching him battle with pitty, rae and brooks in WSS. He was a future star in SBK. Its a dayum shame he had to leave us so soon and at such a young age. He had just began to live his life. You will missed greatly across the pond in the USA.

May god bless u and keep u.

As for JT and Tommy I have mad respect for them. They are both stand up gents before but this is a whole different level. Respect to JT & Tommy your aces in my book.

I haven't been watching bike racing for that long, and haven't seen much World Supersport, so perhaps I'm not the most qualified person to give my condolences. But it is an absolute tragedy for such a talented young man to be taken away so soon. I really feel for his family, friends and girlfriend, but I also feel for Andrew Pitt, who was so unlucky to be caught up in the accident, and I hope he isn't beating himself up over it.

Craig's legacy will live on I'm sure, not only through the corner being named for him at the new Algarve circuit in Portugal, but in the hearts and minds of the entire bike community.

RIP Jonesy

Change of topic slightly, What's everyones best Jonesy memory? Mine is when he won the final race of the BSS season at Donington on the triumph daytona in 2004.

My girl and I will always rember riding our Blade over from Ireland for Brands 2007, sitting in the sun and watching Craig light it up coming down Paddock Hill during the WSS race that he lead with class on a bike that really shouldn't have been anywhere ahead of Sofouglu! (spelling!) It looked every bit the class of any great in those few laps.

Heart wrenching...keep her lit Craig and throw a smile down on JT in Brno!

For me, a very personal memory of him winding me up at the Evening With FPR at Silverstone in 2006 after I asked him who he thought would win the BSS title that year - I wasn't sure if he'd remember who I was after Cal introduced me to him the year before, but he sure did... I gave as good as I got that night, with everyone looking at me wondering who the hell was giving Jonesy such stick, & all Craig could do was laugh!
I'll miss the banter big time - was expecting more at Donington WSB this year but sadly he won't be there... xx

we are fairly new to following the bike racing, but always liked to watch the great racing between craig and the other riders and it will be very sad not to see him doing what he loved most,we always cheered craig on,and as everyone said he will be sadly missed.
our thoughts go out to his family and friends and we are big james toesland fans ,and it was nice to hear that james and tommy rushed to his bed side and were there when he passed away.
