Very good of them to go and make Andrew Pitt aware that there is no blame on him at all andto encourage him to the WSS title... As much as I want to see Jonny Rea win I think it will be a brilliant touch and tribute to Craig if Andrew Pitt goes on to win this season. Come on lads, finish the season in a way to make Craig proud! he'll be watching you guys!

you do not know me, i do not know you, you don't know how i follow motorcycle racing, every race i watch on satellite. for me WSB was a bit dull this year, it was WSS that was the highlight. personally it was Craig Jones that starred for me too. i never met him, he never even knew that i exist. yet i would shout at the TV when he over took somebody,'come on Jonesy!'i was desperate for him to get a win, and when his bike would break, or tyres go off, i would slump in my seat disappointed. i'm no different from any viewer, i too have watched comment after comment go up on this site, and still not posted anything. so let me say this, for every post, there is MANY more of us feeling the same way

Just wanted to say , Andrew Pitt should not have the expectation for winning it for Jonesy placed upon him, by the public. He is probably carrying a heavy enough burden at the moment as it is, regardless of who's to blame or at fault, or if only i'd .... to put so much pressure on him is more than any man can take. I think whoever wins it , wins it, Andrew , do your best , for yourself, for Jonesy for all fans of Bike racing, you will be cheered regardless if you win or not.

I don't think you have to to take it word for word as to what was said, i think it was just such a good thing to do for Steve to speak to Pitt & let him know the family do not feel in anyway that he was responsible, was one of those realy unlucky crashes that had one of the worst outcomes.Just to see Pitt back on the bike and racing out there would have every fan cheering for him, win or loose wouldn't matter.
I agree with one of the other psost...the WSS racing this year has been awsome. He was a great lad & so talented will be realy missed by everyone.I never post normaly on here, but just felt had to put something.
My thoughts are with his family & friends
RIP Craig (one of the best)

My heart goes out to Craig's whole family at this time and to his many friends, motorcycles are my life too and I can just image the smile Craig had on his face each and every time he slipped on the helmet, the joy of every moment spent riding his bike. Craig is a champion like all the pilots that dare to don the leather and ride their bikes to the edge and back. All the motorcycle communities around the world feel your pain but he will be remembered as a very talented and exciting rider to watch. God bless you all!

Andrew mate do it for Craig!!!!

Im 59yrs old and have been a bike racing fan all my life.I have 4 boys and since he rode the Triumph for Jack Valentine, the highlight of our weekend was how "Jonesy"was going.Even on bad days he seemed to try harder than anyone else.None of us can believe what has happened. The last time I felt like this was when Sarinen died at Monza.Bike racing will never be the same.Ride on "Jonesy".
