Extraordinary!
Haga is a good guy but he is past his best and far too inconsistent. He will never win a championship.
And Fabrizio ... a Lanzi clone only getting another chance because he is Italian.
Are Ducati nuts :?

I think Haga will prove a few doubters wrong to be honest. He is a quality rider who has just suffered bad luck in almost every season he has been in WSBK. He's have won it last year if that nob Biaggi hadn't T-boned him and cost him 20+ points.

I don't believe it's true that you can say that Nori Haga isn't championship material, afterall he only lost out last year by 1 point!

With the reference to losing 20+ points when he was taken out by Biaggi, remember that JT suffered problems and lost points last year too, (The "loose" swingarm at Laustizring for one, actually it turned out to be cracked).

At the end of the day, JT knew where he had to finish to win and he did it. I hope that one day (maybe next year) Nori can do the same. :)

Actually Haga lost out on the championship last year by 3 points, but who's counting? :P

Nori didn't t-bone his best mate in Qatar, anyone who watched that race saw he lost the front end & his bike slid into Yukio, unlike Biaggi, who attempted an ill advised passing maneuver...also unlike Biaggi, he apologized right away...same thing happened at Laguna Seca in '02 when Nicky Hayden knocked off Haga with a wild passing attempt, but after the race Haga didn't seem the least bit flustered, because he stated Nicky came right away to profusely apologize, unlike that arrogant prick Biaggi.

anyways, Haga's move to Ducati has been rumoured for a while now on the Italian blogs & sites.

David Tardozzi is a genius when it comes to choosing the right racers, why do you think Ducati have so many more championships than any of the other manufactures.. Haga is well overdue for a championship & Xerox Ducati is simply the best team to take him there.

David Tardozzi must have lost the plot or perhaps he has financial interests in the Ducati bodywork producer. What a waste when he could have signed Biaggi.
With Stoner in MotGP and Haga in WSB, Ducati will have the Tote Double in crashers.
MADNESS!!!!!!!!!!

Brilliant move. I never expected that and assumed Nori was a Yamaha man for life. He's just the man to get everything that Ducati has to offer.

Can't understand next years signings at all. Ducati and Suzuki both have missed the chance to develop world champions in Ben Spies and possibly Tom Sykes. Either one of these would have given Ducati or Suzuki a real shot at a title.

Nitro Nori on a Ducati, Fantastic. Can't wait to see that, as I have only fond memories of the great Haga on that Aprillia in WSBK. And yeah that will really shake up the transfers, and might even leave the door open for Mad Max to go to Yamaha. How good would that be !!!!!!!!! Bring it on. Don't you just love it when a plan comes together. :D

If i was haga, i would not go, he has a long term furture with Yamaha as an ambassdor if he stays.

Don't understand this at all, sure he is a good enough rider but unproven on the duke.
