Extraordinary!
Haga is a good guy but he is past his best and far too inconsistent. He will never win a championship.
And Fabrizio ... a Lanzi clone only getting another chance because he is Italian.
Are Ducati nuts :?

Brendan - agreed, Hagas behaviour in race one - being too lazy to get off the bike and spewing oil all over the track was totally unprofessional and should earn him a large fine.

He has a reputation for being lazy during testing - just ask Pitt or Corser who does all the work. He also doesn't keep himself fit and sometimes starts a season bloated as if he's munched all the pies in Huddersfield.

I'm a fan because of the natural talent he brings to the track on a Sunday, but he is totally unsuited to the expectations of the Xerox team i.e. fitness, work ethic, motivation and consistency - it takes more than talent to win a world title.

I am all for good close racing but why do many of us support the older riders. Many riders move now for one thing and one thing only, £££££££! It's not like Ducati need a development rider as that bike is quick already.

We and many other countries have talented young riders, ready to step in their boots for less money and with more determination. Roberts, Canepa,Ellison etc

Anyone see TC trying to get the 2nd race at Donington stopped on safety grounds whilst a younger Kiyo cleared off?

As for motivation?A world championship should do it,on a yamaha that is still clearly quick.

Also I had a lump in my throat for the minutes silence and Hills lap on Jonesy's bike, fitting tribute

Gav , i think i also saw Biaggi flapping his arms about too ,but no-one took any notice & besides Corser didn't do too bad finishing 3rd. I bet he was glad it wasn't stopped!!!!

Tardozzi is spectacular in his errors, Sacking a developing talent like Toseland was in-excusable, he almost righted his errors by supporting Bayliss, but employing Lanzi (who he manages) and then employing Fabrizio (a good rider, but not worthy of a works Ducati ride) indicates how poor a judge he is of riders. HE MUST GO. I am a massive Haga fan, but surely Shane Burne must be the the best choice: for Ducati, Xerox, the organisers etc.... If not Shakey, then how about somebody who remembers how to win a race? Tardozzi if you employ Haga, I''ll lose all faith and sell my Duke! I want to see a potential champion riding, not a rider at the twilight of their career trying to earn their pension!

Rob

You do know Haga has won 30 races? and has the 2nd amount of wins this year behind Bayliss and is 5th in the rankings of all time? "somebody that knows how to win does not make sense".
He is 6 years younger than Bayliss and neither does your last statement.

Oh well, Ducati have dropped a right clanger signing Haga IMO. Did nothing at Donington and to be honest he has been a let down this season. Not signing Biaggi is a BIG mistake.

I dont think Haga is very popular in the paddock at the moment!. He behaved like a total prat on sunday, first he carried on riding on the racetrack putting oil down that caused a number of riders to crash and where then not able to join the restart because there where not able to get back to the pits within 5mins, (whats that all about then). In the 2nd race he was called in for a ridethru for a jumpstart, but refused to do, so was then blacked flaged.
