Extraordinary!
Haga is a good guy but he is past his best and far too inconsistent. He will never win a championship.
And Fabrizio ... a Lanzi clone only getting another chance because he is Italian.
Are Ducati nuts :?

Haga immediately started throwing and kicking gravel at Biaggi after they got up at Misano. I don't think we can fairly blame Biaggi for not running over to him and grovelling. And Max did apologise later. Has Haga yet apologised for his riding at Donington?

Max was also the only rider other than Rossi to make that Yamaha competitive, which is no mean feat considering the troubles he had trying to make Yamaha make the changes which they later quickly made for Rossi and Burgess.

Jog on mate, that is complete shi.te - so you reckon Rossi and Burgess just went to Yamaha and all of a sudden Yamaha made changes that they refused to make for Biaggi? Why don't you give Rossi some credit and admit the guy is the nuts, he could make a 3-legged donkey competetive.

AS for the Haga/Biaggi Misano 07 incident, Haga had every right to react that way. Nothing wrong with a bit of emotion in the heat of the moment, it's not like he assualted Biaggi is it? Stop being so pedantic

Biaggi is the kind of guy that would moan about being in a threesome cos he's only got 1 coc.k!

Squiggle,

I dont normally get involved with these light hearted debates, however i have to pull you up on the absoloute drivel you have managed to type.

What you are proposing is that Yamaha didn't want to win the championship with Biaggi, but would rather listen to him moan (apparently he's not to bad at that) then ignore his requests, only for them to do exactly what Rossi asks? That makes absoloutley no sense. Yamaha are in the championship to win. Winning is all that matters to them, if they could get a monkey to win races they would. What would they achieve by ignoring a riders requests?

go and have a lie down. Preferebly with a pillow. Over your face.

damn nori dont go, the worlds motorcycle press are reporting the breaking of the new Yamaha R1 which is the first of the four cylinder big litre bikes (gsxr 1000, cbr 1000,zx 10 ) to have a "big bang motor " with technology from moto gp said to heavily influence the bike. I woulda loved to see Nori on that bike as the torque advantage it would have over its four cylinder compadres would be something else, shame corsers gonna end up going too, who now will develop this bike to its fullest potential?
Laconi? Biaggi? hmmm i wonder who will ride for Yamaha now. I woulda loved to have seen haga remain with yamaha and battle shayne byrne and mad max on the duke woulda made awesome viewing.

Haga is the type of racer you either like or you don't, no middle ground. I for one am a big Haga fan... my interests in motorcycle racing began by watching Haga on the R7... can't wait to see him rip it up on a Ducati!

With Hayden in route to join Ducati in MotoGP and Haga in WSBK... I guess it's time for me to get a duke! :)

Where did you get the idea that I wasn't giving Rossi 'some' (actually a great deal of) credit? And what did you mean by pedantic?

@ R1 Hab

Of course teams don't always listen to riders. Why should they? Riders aren't always correct. But neither are teams. There was comment at the time that Biaggi had been trying to make changes to the Yamaha, and that similar changes were made by Rossi and Burgess, who had been hired to save Yamaha and were listened to.

I don't know what the point of your last comment was.

Frankly Im happy to watch haga ride anything. In terms of exitement he's better than Baylis, who is too win it or bin it for me, you need the best bike for this technique as he has shown..

Go Nori what ever you ride...

I'd be inclined to give more time to your argument if you actually specified what "changes" you were talking about. As a keen follower of Moto GP, ive never heard what your telling me.

Burgess' main job is to translate Rossi's feedback into technical modifications. I can so no reason why a engineer would refuse to modify a bike based on rider feedback. That is the domain of the engineer, not the manufacturer. Hence my comments.

The only "changes" that can be imposed by a team are manufactured parts.
