Excellent!

All the best for 2009 Max and for the rest of the season. Hope you aren''t feeling too sore after Corser knocked you off! :)

Mr. David Kelly, please remember that it is far better reading of peacefull well constructed fluid threads on here than "Face slapping wild insults" that appear on any other thread as pointed out by the gentleman alaywa..

Peace to you my child.

Glad to hear and see the new RSV4. I hope Biaggi lots of luck and I hope they are competitive against the I4 and V-Twins right out of the box next season. I agree it's too early to say if it will have any advantage. But it does look nice. If true I'm sorry to hear Aprilia will be dropping the Mille a really nice bike. I've ridden a 2000 and 2002 versions and was quite impressed. Great engine and nice chassis but a little heavy and unfortunately not well supported where I live. The best think is having more manufacturers on the grid. WSB is the most competitive series and will become even better next season. It's also nice to hear that more American riders will be on the grid next year.

The RSV was on dunlopp's and most of the other bikes were on Michelins, so that was 1 of the mayor things why they didn't go so fast.
The cube was on crappy tires at first, than on michelins, but not a competitive bike. Later the bike was better, but they had to stop due to financial problems.

Let's hope they now can prove they can also build 'big bikes'

As noted by others the Mille under Corser did fairly well considering. I agree that they should have aborted the MotoGP idea and concentrated on making the Mille better and winning a possible Superbike Championship to help improve sales of their streetbikes. Unfortunately they made the switch to MotoGP and it just about killed the company. I hope they've made a good bike and it's competitive out of the crate. Biaggi is no slouch so I think it should be interesting. It would be nice to see him out ride the Ducati factory boys next year. But it won't be easy with a brand new bike.

"The revolutionary design of the Aprilia RSV4 comes directly from Europe's biggest and most successful racing team".Is it just me, or as worded this quote could have been giving the nod to Ducati, and admitting they pinched Ducati''s v4 design? Oh well, good luck Max, and good luck future owners when you need bits on this side of the pond. :?

Walrus - Aprilia do run Europes biggest and most successful team - in 125cc and 250cc categories. In fact they make a mint on the operation with full grids in both categories and the best 7 bikes in 250 leasing for 1.1m Euro each and the rest of the bikes at around 0.5m Euro each - that's a considerably larger number of bikes and bigger revenue stream than Ducati Corse!

Still relative novices compared to Ducati with 4 strokes though!

I wish them every success and hope Alex Hofmann gets the second ride rather than Robby Rolfo.
