@buelliful has it right - not good news for Pitty. Why has he been overlooked?? Lets say he wins the WC - that will be his 2nd WSS title om two makes. He has MotoGP in his background on early Kawasaki's - which make the 08 version look brilliant - plus Ilmor before they went bust in 2007 :?, rode the pre factory supported Yamaha in WSB to great effect, wins their first 06 race at Misano, and STILL he can't get a ride. What does he have to do??? The guy can ride, he is fast, he can win close races, develop new bikes, is nearly always in the points and doesn't crash very often.

I wondered how long it would be before this appeared!
Good news for Jonathan, bad news for Pitty methinks...from what I''ve read it
looks like Ten Kate want him to defend his title should he win and he wants
to move up to WSBK.

Great new least he has shown wot he can do.I think given him a 3 year deal is the right thing so he has got a season or so just to get to no the WSB and then go for it with in the season after. But me think he will do just fine next season cos look wot he done this season not as powerful as a BSB but this will help next season being on a BSB I think a bit. Look wot he has had to do this year with learn all the new track. But it seems that enery bike johnny get on it like a duke to water.GOOD LUCK AND WELL DONE

Sucks for Sufoglu, don't think he was given a fair shake at WSBK given the circumstances. Hopefully he regains his form.

Johnny absolutely deserves the sbk ride and he was indeed promised the ride last year when ten kate signed him. I'm sure we will do great next season. It would be pity if Kenan is sent back to supersport. I don't know if he is ten kate property for 2009 but if I were him I would do anything to remain at sbk, no mater what team what machinery. He's got nothing to prove at supersport level and I don't see why he'd have the motivation to do so.
