Bout time they announced this , Haga will be a hit the italians love him anyway and now that he is riding a duke it is a match made in heaven. I just hope for his sake he can start the season better than he normally does then he will definately be in with a chance for the championship, ive got no worries about nori not being able to ride the duke as haga is one of those riders that could ride any bike and ride it well.
Good luck Nori for 2009 .... i cant wait !

Personaly I dont think that Haga will need much time to adapt to the Ducati, in 2004 he won the 2nd race of the season on the Ducati against the likes of JT on the Fila Duc

Sure he be a force to be reconed with from the outset. I think Shakey will need to be at his absolute best to hang with Haga

Shakey will do well at the circuits he knows for sure but he'll suffer at those he doesn't. I still think he'll do well mind but as i have previously mentioned, when it comes to the Brits i expect Rea to have the upper hand due to spending this year in WSS and having greater track knowledge

What a picture!!!!!

That has immediately become one of my favourite photos!!

...hopefully the rider isnt still on the bike though :oS

Will be a strong Xerox team next season! However, im looking forward to haga being left behind by his old bike with a certain Mr Sykes sat on board!!

Come on the Brits!!!

Saying the truth, I am not really happy about it. I really like Haga (and Biaggi, as well) and he really deserves to win the SBK world title, but I hoped that he reach this on Yamaha. I guess that Yamaha is his home, not the Ducati. I know that he rode for the Koji Renegade squad in 2004 and he posted some race wins, and he was in charge for the title even at the last round in Magny-Cours. And still I say that he should stay at the Yamaha Motor Italia, which looks like more powerful than ever. But if he wins the title with the Ducati, I will be happy and excuse for this comment of mine. I just simply don''t like the Ducati (and V2 bikes at all). I always hope for a japanese bike to win.

Hmmm, nothing against Sykes but I doubt he'll see which way Haga goes! A seasoned veteran at the top of his game riding the title winning bike, against a newbie on a new bike who has only really come good in the last year or so. He'll only stand a chance on circuits he knows.

If Nori Doesn't win it this time he never will, and i say that as a lifelong Haga fan. He was robbed of his first chance due to the ban and points deduction for ephedrine in his herbal cough medicine! :)Robbed of his second chance when JT won the championship first time round due to the fact that the Koji Ducati kept blowing engines ( and Ducati wouldn't have wanted a privateer beating the factory Xerox would they :-o) So this time round he is the best rider in the series, he has the best team with the best factory backing, so if he buggers this chance up it's back to the bath house in Nagoya,'cos a year later the Young British contingent will be coming through. Sykes for world champ 2010 :

Agreed MilleMart

Not sure it will be Sykes though even though he's got one of the best rides out there...either way i can see 2010's WC being from the uk unless Nori gets a taste for titles and takes another.....nice to dream isn't it? :)
