I think it says alot about the Sterilgarda team, and their sense of sportsmanship, that they extended the permission for this test.

I don't know how unusual such a move is, but I'd say it shows them in a pretty good light.

How can you diss Biaggi at being a crap development rider when for the majority of his career he has been on Satellite machines, apart from the years he was with Yamaha when he turned the nail M1 that Kocinski and others had supposedly developed into a race winning machine, then when he left it never won another race until God and Burgess got hold of it. The Repsol year was a complete disaster because HRC insisted he used a mickey mouse chassis compared with the tried and tested one that Haydon was using, so he wasn't allowed to do any development, and when he told them that they were going in the wrong direction (or telling them to stick it up their ring, whichever you prefer)he was pushed.

Bike Abuser, I thought that it was only me who thought that! :D

Yes, Max was never allowed to develop the M1 or the RCV, very true! When Max told Yamaha the way the bike needed to be developed, they disagreed. Then when Vale and JB took over, they made the changes to the bike that Max had asked for! :?

Then with Repsol in 2005, he was asked to try all kinds of wierd stuff to help develop the 2006 bike and when he finally found something that he liked, he asked to use it in the races and HRC said no! Unsurprisingly, Hayden went on to win he title in 2006, on the data gained from Max in 2005! AAARRRGGGHH!

Biaggi is a very good rider but he is in it for the money these days and is not hungry enough. God how long is it since he managed to string a couple of wins together. He might fight for third but when has he ever challenged Bayliss or Haga in any race. I would rather see someone with less experience and more determination to win on the grid than someone topping up their pension.

Drew, when did Max ever challenge Bayliss or Haga in a race?

Err, try the whole of 2007 mate and some of this year! Have you been watching any of the races?

....and not hungry, you know nothing mate. Have a look at his website or read some of his race weekend comments and then see what you think.

Lets just see how he gets on eh?

gaz, how do you know what changes Max wanted on the Yamaha, and even more that the changes Rossi and JB demanded was the same Max wanted?? Dream on.
And for the Sterilgrada bike, it is not a works bike, but it is not far behind, Max rode fast some times, but he was not even close to Haga and Bayliss this year.
Biaggi might have been offered a Xerox Ducati for free, but even IF Bayliss didn't want him as a team mate (who will want Max as a team mate?? should be funny putting him with Pedrosa!) I bet Max will say no due to money. He could race for Suzuki for the second year if he didn't demand that much!!

And you know better do you Mr Bayliss supporter? :D

Suggest you get your research right before writing rubbish that you have no facts about. :)

The Suzuki no deal was nothing to do with money. Max wanted to bring some of his own sponsors to the team and it was refused. He subsequently did with Sterilgarda.

Something else you know NOTHING about! :D
