There''s no doubt Birdy is a top manager but the Kawasaki''s seem to be going no where fast in any championship and think they could of got a couple of better riders on board. Tamada seems to have gone of the boil and Parkes has never lived up to the hype.
Think they''ll be lucky to get in the top 10, especially with next years field, but hope they prove me wrong, the more up front, the better.
Good luck Team Green, think you''ll need it.

Gonna be interesting with Birdy's direct and "kick em in the gonads" style of management when his riders aint performing. Methinks that they're gonna struggle to go top ten unless the Kwak gets some serious development from the factory.

PBM has never followed suit of other manufacturer bikes, developing their own Hondas (Stobart sponsored) in the BSB that were developed differently (not sure how) to the HM Plant bikes. And after a few races they were up to speed and even winning races. I think he's done the same thing in the WSBK with the 2008 Honda and with Stiggy Motorsports taking the bikes over they can't be bad. I get the impression PSG-1 took what Kawasaki gave them and did very little of their own to them. I would like to think that PBM will take what Kawasaki give them, say "you're having a laugh, we'll do it this way" and get some performance out of them, the more competitive bikes the better.

DBL - main differences - electronics (PBM used Magnetti Marelli - more potential, but more complicated) and suspension supplier.

Agree with others that to get any top tens will be very hard - a lot of factory teams and more good riders than ever before. Hopefully Kawasaki will invest in the team - kawasaki WSB appears to have been a shoestring effort for many years.

WSB Scott Russell 1993 was my favourite, fond memories of watching the battles with Davros on Sky sports (Huewen & Ryder them were the days)

Don't know about Bird, but Kawa have been about nothing now for so many years (MotoGP or WSBK). One must look for some old youtube's of Scott Russel to see a Kawa at front!!
