Kagayama won the Suzuka 8 hour which gives him a Suzuki ride for the rest of his career plus he is vital to the development of the bike.

Fonsi was outperformed by Neukirchner who had a novice crew and a lower spec bike - so not a difficult decision to make. Hopefully Neukirchnrt will now have more experienced technicians and will therefore be less hit and miss with his bike setup.

Actually this year Alstare had some problems because Fonsis sponsors didn't pay. So it's not a surprise he doesn't get the job next year. I'm curious if he gets a Suzuki backed by Alstare. His PSG1 alternative is gone...

If he is now redundant, WSB will sorely miss Fonsi...if only for the fact that the delights of his wife \ girlfriend won't now be strutting her stuff about the paddock..I think that sums up the the loss :-)

As usual sick cylinder obviously gives some thought to the subject, Nieto has under performed and if you under perform you loose your ride (Hayden in Moto gp is a case in point), Kagayama is a favourite son of Suzuki so he was always going to stay, interestingly a comentator said Kagayama had knocked him self about with so many crashes in 2008 he looked like he had aged 15 years in 1 year! I hope he keeps it upright and that the new bike is better than last years bike and development of the bike continues. (not like last year when development was non existent) I would like to see both riders do well. :)

I think Alstare have really **** on Fonsi...

they havent even given him the chance to find himself another ride...

I can appreciate that there probably wont have been much option due to the economic conditions, but if tere was any doubt they should have let Nieto go at end of last season!!!

With the economic climate as it is you may well see a lot more of this before the next season begins...
