SmutMonkey, where were you when Troy Bayliss destroyed the whole MotoGP field, including Rossi, at Valencia in his one-off ride ? Oh right, you fainted when your god Rossi crashed early in the race while trying to follow the riders who were crushed by Bayliss...

Lord I hope he doesn''t come back because frankly I''ve had enough of him. He''d have been nowhere if he hadn''t had a huge bike advantage. Where was he in MotoGP?? Nowhere, where was he when Toseland had a good bike.........exactly. Tbh, I don''t even like his riding style so I''m glad he''s hung up his boots.....and a duel against Rossi?? Anyone out there who thinks Bayliss is even in the same ballpark as Rossi is totally deluded.........he''d get destroyed.

Wish someone would have you destroyed SmutMonkey.

But I hope he doesn't come back as let's face it bike racing can be hazardous for your health and it's good when any sportsman leaves while they're still on top.

Who Cares, I guess smutmunkey missed all of 2006, cause apparently he doesn't recall seeing Bayliss beat Toseland when Bayliss didn't have the extra cc's that he had on the 1200 (where were the other 1200's in 2008, by the way??).

You can say Bayliss had nothing to lose at Valencia 2006, but in 2003 he did lead several races and probably would have won some as well if it weren't for the bike shredding the tires to bits. As for Valencia - he had the crew he wanted at that race, not the crew that Ducati told him to use (he had his SBK crew, not MotoGP people). I think that speaks volumes. I'd imagine that if he had brought his SBK crew with him in '03 he would have gone even better.

What a load of toss - Bayliss finished 6th in his first season on a new bike in Ducati's first Moto GP season. Where did Toseland finish in his first year on the championship winning bike? ........11th.

Actually, this site needs to diversify a little, it's fine when there's racing on but there's a whole lotta crap being written on the off season
