WSBK » Byrne unfazed by gap to leaders

Very credible but slightly worrying & disappointing for the bloke.

I hope having to sit out the earlier test isn't going to cost him too heavily. He's clearly capable but fighting uphill right now.

I dont think Shakey is "World" class. He had his chance years ago and did NOTHING and although he ran away with the BSB last year I just cant see him making any impact this year.

Crutchlow deserved a place in WSBK.

I can see what he is saying, but it is a little worrying if being absent from the pre-season test has cost him this much time already.

Hopefully he'll prove everybody wrong tomorrow once he's learnt the track a little better, and be comfortably inside the top ten on the grid.

If he can do that, all that'll be left is for him to get an un-characteristic good start and avoid trouble in the races!

I for one can't wait to see if he can find the sweet spot!

First time there in years and only a second off pole. Shakey will easily make up that time.

Dont worry about shakey, come tomorrow he will be on it. As to the chap who said he isnt world class & he may have ran away with bsb last year but...your a complete and utter plonker! Haslam is 3rd who he beat last year and Sykes is top 10. Shakey missed out on 2 days testing here, he has only riden round the track for 2 days in 2004. He has had less than 2 hours track time and is only a secong off pole. In Qualifying he had a small off about 15 minutes from end and didnt go back out. I wonder when everyone set there fast times? SHAKEY WSBK09 #1!!!

shakey is too slow for world stage...he's a mid pack guy

nikalo obviously has the brain of a dodo. Shane has every chance of "shaking" the rest. I have set the alarm to watch it live and expect to see him at the pointy end, good luck.
