Spies fastest again,looks like we have another "Carl Fogarty" who only understands winning.

WOW - Spies I expected, but pleased and surprised to Sykes on the front.

Can't wait for superpole - I wonder which riders are going to use up a qualifier to get into the top 16?

Ben is looking awesome for a double win here ... he put in a sequence of laps all faster than what Biaggi managed to get the 3rd best time overall ... he's the only guy consistently in the low 1:59's.

Biggest surprise of the session is Parkes on the ZX10 ... Tamada is looking beaten already - time to get Hopper on the 2nd bike!

So happy to see local boy Rea up there AGAIN... Spies, what a man! Luckily for me my MCN dream team has Spies and Rea so happy days!

Agreed, get the likes of Muggers, Tamada etc out and get Hopper in there!

Brendan Roberts - showing the huge gulf between Superstock champ level and WSB - He had an offer to ride a Ducati in BSB - I think he's going to wish he had taken that before long if he doesn't already!

At this early stage in Ben's WSB life, I think that we may have to start looking at some of Foggy's & Bayliss's record getting broken, and getting broken quick.

I'm just thinking of the last rider who has burst on the scene with such force. Bayliss is one and guess Scott Ru$$ell been the last.

The " Go Show " should have been a great, but not with his coke problem.

I have said it before and will say it again, when you look at Ben Spies, you are looking at the 2009 WSB Champ.

I wonder if Sykes is using Ben's setup today?

Haga is really struggling - most of his times are in the 2:01's.

Also surprising the Suzuki's arent right up there at this circuit, especially since they have the best top speed?

@ wiggysan - Ben wont be in WSBK long enough to break many records. He has a performance clause in his contract that gets him to MotoGP, & looks like he'll reach it before May.

@ jmv -Im here ... why, do you think he's done something worth noticing this weekend so far?
