Good ol' Ben. Actually, when he was left an "uncharacteristic 17th fastest" in the morning run, that was still only 1 second behind the leader, which says quite a few interesting things - the competition is TIGHT, being the most obvious one. Getting back to first qualifying results, there's been a bunch of noise about Spies this season (deservedly so), but there hasn't been a whole lot of hoopla surrounding Max Biaggi and that Brand new Aprilia! That combo has been very hot in the first two rounds (his crash out of a top 5 finish at Philip Island makes his points tally look less impressive), and I think that he is arguably in as good a position to pounce as Haga. God, WSB is fantastic!!

You said it, edward. If only the worldsbk website would get their s*** together and put some decent res vidoes up so we poor saps in the states would have an option besides speedtv's lame coverage.

@ BA
Speed TV has paid for the coverage rights to all WSBK rounds and has access to every pertinent session but choses not to aire them. That's why you can watch the full races on their site, but only after they've been aired on Speed.

I assume you can find live coverage .. somehow :) There are a number of ways

Speed Blows!!! The WSBK site at least had decent resolution videos of the races and superpole, albeit after the race weekend. Normally that would be acceptable but the WSBK site has been revised and now I'm lost.

Oh and fair warning. Spies says he already found his race setup and tires so it is all gravy from here! Tom Houseworth deserves a bit of credit for his Meteoric rise I think. Their chemistry is tough to duplicate (just ask the tech 3 lads). When a rider can come in and succinctly communicate what he needs the bike to do and have a chief that knows what to do( ala Jeremy Burgess or Erv Kanemoto) it just makes the speed come that much easier. :)

You're exactly right. Tom Houseworth isn't getting his due credit for the outstanding job that he's doing. Hats off to the guy.

OK fellow posters from Europe we yanks need your help!!! It blows that the WSBK site isn't available for live feeds in the States and Speed TV's only showing race one tape delayed! I get up at 5am to watch most motogp races live and I'd like to be able to do the same with WSBK. Can anyone provide a site or sites that will show the races live? I speak French, Italian, Spanish and English so language will not be a problem unless it's in something other than those. Please HELP!!! Thanks
