First off get well soon Hopper ! Second ... As a loyal british fan I was at valencia and he is the most generous rider I have ever seen ! He spent about an hour straight on the pitlane signing autographs and one of the only ones doing so ... When he was rushing to get to his motorhome after the qualifying my son stopped him at the steps and he said one second and literally took the boot off of his foot and handed to my boy then signed it and took a picture !!! After that he was surrounded and once again he stayed and signed for around 45 mins. I hate to make this so long but after that day he is my boys hero forever !!! No other rider has given him the time of day ! So for all of you posting ****e about his EGO and all these other negative things ... What racer doesn't want to get to the front !!! The boy is world class on and off the track !!! Let's not forget being 4th in the moto gp championship with a run away second place finish behind stoner only isn't to shabby !!! How many o

WSBK » Hopkins reveals extent of injuries

John Hopkins: All the ligaments and muscles around the femur are torn, which is a lot worse then actual broken bones. If there was no muscle damage, I would be back racing in two weeks...

Time to take up car racing Hopper.
Get a cage around ya.

Seems motorcycle crashes don't agree with you.

Alternatively, have a chat with JT and find his
secret. He's getting pretty good at chucking it
down the road and coming away in 1 piece!!

bad news....
but its nothing to do with bad luck...
bad luck is hitting a bird, tire exploding and so.
a high-side comes as a result of a rides error.
sorry Hoppy it was in your hands.
i really hope he feels better soon.
i still think hell do good this year.
and Crash 27 i think its a bad idea to send him to JT
hell send him on a walkabout to find his confidence some were.

Xaus used to crash as a matter of routine...but he was never injured as I recall. Hell he crashed twice on a warm up lap at Leguna! Hopper has more guts than skill I am afraid and he needs to cool it until he is really at one with the bike. This is really going to set him back
