Sorry for Max, that crash looked terrible, didn't even see it coming. Get well soon.

Mladin Needs to get on that bike and simply bring it. With him on the suzuki it would be all out war in Utah and/or Kayalami. I would pay money to see that match up.

It would shut the yaps of all the ignorant ******s who just don't know any better but enjoy flaunting their ignorance but more importantly it would be the death match of racing on the world stage, Spies vs. Mladin.

Simply put, this match up NEEDS to happen. Period.

Poor Max had some good pace.. could've been on the podium..Hope he gets well soon. Will be interesting to see who is going to replace him? Would be interesting to see what Mladin could do in Miller Park

What a mess! If something weird happens on a racetrack in wsbk you can guess that Max is in the middle of it...

His HP says that he did not "only" suffer a fracture of the femoral neck but also but also a double fracture of the shank.

I think this season is done for him- hope he recovers well.

The team def cant find a suitable substitute from within the SA Championship for the Kyalami round.

Suzuki SA has a very low key presence in the national championship this year, with their 2007 champion retiring at the end of 2008 & their up-&-coming young star been poached to ride the factory Yamaha R1.

Guintoli would be great, but cant see it happening ... perhaps Lavilla would be the best bet?

To bad for Max hopefully he'll be back soon, How about Mladin in Utah as a fill in? Has anyone fallen farther and faster than Tamada? Gp winner to WSBK backmarker in no time flat.

He is damn lucky he wasn't killed in that crash,it was really nasty. That first chicane at Monza is a joke and needs to be redesigned to make it safer.Having to slow down so much from those speeds into such a tight corner is always asking for trouble.

shame for max but he will be back as fast as ever. Lavilla the obvious replacement. He is by far the best available rider and has of course been an Alstare rider in the past in wsb
