A real shame for Corser, and a f*uKK*i*n*g BIG cheer for Steve Martin! At least one round I don't have to listen to his attempt at commentary as one half of the worst team in the history of motorsport. They should give him and that Johnathan Green ****w1t a pair of barbed wire gloves so they actually have to watch the race instead of ******* each other off all day. If you poms think you've got it tough with commentary team woes, you'd be looking for a rafter to tie your rope around if you relied on Fox Sports!

Get well soon Troy!

I'm glad Martin is going to get to race but I'm sure going to miss him doing the commentary on Speed for the race. Good luck Steve!

That first accident looked terrible from all angles, how Troy was fit to race is beyond me. He's taken a lot of punishment from the sport and yet still does wonders on the development side of the bike. I thought for sure he would have received more injuries, it looked as though the bike actually landed on him, 150kg of mass moving at speed would have left him bruised and sore at the very least. Get well Troy and keep on developing that beemer, it looks like it will be a trick bike for the roads up my way and it looks better than the GS, which is pig ugly in comparison.

I agree, but the only thing more boring than listening to Steve Martin commentating with that annoying t&%t is watching him race. Why on earth would BMW put him into WSB after he's retired? He wasn't good enough 4 years ago on a very fast ducati when there was nowhere near the competition as there is now. He will come last i think. Why dont they put someone like Hoffman on the bike? He is german and damn fast. doing this give the young fellas nothing to look forward to if these old has beens keep getting pulled out of retirement to race in the best championship. And he should know better as a rider that he's over the hill and wont be competitive. Unbelievable!

I believe steve martin has been a test rider for BMW so he might have been first choice because he's already used to the bike.

I agree Mark,(Pid****s?)young, hungry, and well worth being given a chance at this level. He'd fit well with the youthful image BMW are trying to generate with their new sports bike.

Dear Crash.net censor,I fully understand why you've altered my post, but the name you altered to Pid****s is actually the name of an excellent motorcycle retailer in the Nottingham/Derby area, owned by a certain Mr Christopher Roy(after his father)Pid****.His Sales Director is called Mark Fisher(another fine chap). If you accept this and care to reinstate my post in it's original form,i'd be grateful,if not never mind.
