Yay another round of "he's from US racing series lets hate on him" posts incoming.

I lost count of the number of times the announcers on BBC mentioned his birthplace.

Aside from all that pointless crap, anyone who doesn't think his results in race 1 ALONE deserve a WSBK seat are kidding themselves. He took an uncompetitive bike and got into the top 7!

I believe the WSBK paddock enlightenment relating to the abilities of AMA riders has begun. If race wins are what teams are looking for (rather then a spokesman/PR type riders) I would expect the old euro-guard to start looking over their shoulders as more AMA riders want to leave their home series.

Yesindeed, I couldn't have said it better myself. The Britt fans on here continue to put down the American riders, all the while rooting their best riders on to 4th - 10th place.

I cut the Limey's some slack at the start of the season, since they most likely hadn't seen someone of the caliber of Spies, or even what Hacking is capable of with a bit more familiarization on the bike. Now that the writing is on the wall, all the sour grapes are coming out.

Personally, it was enjoyable to see Hacking Clown Stomp a lot of the regulars at Miller. I'll also wager a case of Guiness to any Britt fan who wants to bet any of your riders can take down Spies!

its hilarious to see so many sour grapes american hating responses yet again...cant beat ben spies down, so go after hacking eh, hehe..it was a shame to see hacking get into a teammate, but at least he was fully on it, and wringing the bikes neck, not being timid and overly cautious. kawasaki would do themselves quite a service bringing him aboard to race and help put his vast experience to work developing the bike, which is the only way they will begin to challenge at the sharp end of the grid. WSBK hangs its hat on the no holes barred, go for the throat pace and intensity...let the man have another go, his ride was nothing if not exciting eh...

The point I was making was Hacking gets one lucky 7th place in ONE race on a track he knows backwards and then he can walk on water .He did nothing in the second race other than take people out . That is what makes him an overrated American . You can add Hayden to that list if you want to as well now that he is on the Ducati , the only reason teams are adding American riders is so the factories can sell bikes in America .

To everyone that is saying, "Hacking had his chance to go over to WSBK, now he is too old", the reason Jamie never went to WSBK is because in order to do so, he would have had to take a pay cut. Only now that Nascrap took over are riders looking to explore their options. Hacking def has the speed to compete in WSBK.

Maybe Hacking cut some people up - but as Valentino said to Sete Gibernau - "This is motorcycle racing".

Looks like all of the factories are pulling out of AMA at the end of the year so the US young guns and veterans will be dying to get the hell out of the States. Without factory bikes and factory pay and factory promotion of the series, there will be little incentive to stay State side anymore.

Hey Rawdawg, me neither on the US versus Europe/UK thing but its nice to know who to look out for coming thro'....we seem to have lost coverage of US racing over here at the mo so its difficult to keep up with whats going on.
In the UK the best crop of riders migrated to WSB/Supersport this year so the championship is a little lean on new talent ready to race at a higher level....Leon Camier is the obvious one to move up next year but of the remainder they're either not ready/good enough yet or are older and not destined to move out of domestic racing.
And of course we've lost Guintolli for the year which is a bummer as he would have been a great influence on the others.
