John Hopkins is the biggest loser to come out of the United States. I'm not exactly sure what makes this guy such a weak, flaky character, but I'm sure it has something to do with the British blood flowing through his veins. He does not deserve to be on the international scene and barely deserves to be back in the AMA, where he belongs.

There's no doubt in my mind that I would SMOKE this guy on any Southern California track, and I would mentally castrate him on Ortega Highway!

I think at this point, 'fighting at the front' should be very much a secondary aim to that of simply having a few safe and secure rides. Nobody wants to see Hopper go down the road again - a few points finishes would be preferable to trying too hard too early.

Hope at this visit to Misano he'll concentrate on riding the bike rather than allegedly riding something else and ending up in an alcohol induced state afterwards... I assume that's his wife in the photo?

good luck to him I say and hope he does great!!

I broke my femur 2 weeks after him and there is no way I will be riding in those timescales. The right doctors and aftercare and he will be sorted!!

Let's hope he won't crash again, because his Valencia showing was great. Just stay on the bike, guy and good results would come!
