That's right... I did. Good of you to acknowledge that fact.

Anyone who can pull over 2 seconds a lap on world class opposition (in the wet) round a circuit he's never seen before, let alone ridden in the wet before can only be considered world class. Sorry but that's a fact. If it had stayed wet, he'd have whooped the lot of em by over 30 seconds, based on his lead at the point he came in for slicks... And that's not world class ? Like f**k its' not...

Maybe if he'd come in earlier he might of had a chance of a win. Maybe.. Don't know what xaus was thinking though

BMW had nothing to lose, probably to keep him out for the full race distance if they could. Some tyres were chunking but no one (that I saw) suffered a failure until Xaus and Hacking came in. So they probably gambled on the tyre doing the last 5 or so laps. Better result if slowing and dropping places than coming in and losing a lot more. Didn't work though.

What?!

Where the hell is the biggest Shakey fan on the board Nitro Nori?!

I was actually looking forward to reading his half page "I told you so"!LOL!

Good job by Shakey. He may have stayed out a bit too long on the wets in race 1 but hindsight is 20/20.

Yeah Nitro Nori still hasn't come down from his high yet, and quite rightly so! :)

Wet, the great leveller in racing and Shakey showed who was boss. I hope a lot of naysayers remember that when they can come to terms with it.

Nitro Nori, give 'em all hell! :D

What a great 1st podium that Shane got in the 1st race. I am also happy for him as well as he has had a lot of bad luck recently and now this podium should boost his confidence even more. Have all the Brits 1st, 2nd and 3rd places at Donington please. Congratulations Shane Byrne.

Good for Shane. He's been having some bad luck and mediocre rides so far but it's fantastic to see him back on the box. It just goes to show how much depth and talent there is this year in WSBK. Hopefully he can get his confidence back and start dicing it up front with the leaders where he belongs.

Well done Shakey! I think another couple of laps in race 2 could have earnt you a 4th place.

Can't wait for Donington. Will be interesting to see how he competes against his old team mate, Camier!

Roll on Sunday!
