Get real guys i,m a true brit and would love to see the brits do well, but even david blunkett could see that spies dosen,t need team orders to beat them. Look at the results, lap times he,s in a different league at the moment.  :?

WSBK » Wright: Hopes high, expectations realistic

Colin Wright is reserving judgement on how competitive his Airwaves Yamaha team will be at Donington Park, but is hopeful a podium result is in the offing.

Team orders! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

If they did impose team orders, and its obvious, they should be disqualified.....that's not in the spirit of racing, certainly at this stage of the season.

They certainly wouldn't make themselves very popular with the public who have paid for the priveldge of watching the races in the squalor of a wet Donington Park, especially those who are tempted to go particularly to see the wildcards perform at their best, if they do that!

I don't see anybody helping Haga, quite the contrary in the case of his team-mate. Spies is quite capable of fending for himself, he doesn't need nannying!

would be interesting to see a fight at the front between Spies , Sykes & Camier (I'm counting Sykes in cos this IS his home race & I've seen just how he good he is at Doni)

OK this should be interesting. Spies vs 3 riders on the same package with tons of experience racing at Donington. This is great for the BSB boys to see how they stack up. I just hope Sykes isn't shown up to poorly at his home race. It would kill him to lose out to the domestic series riders.

Team orders aside I hope the BSB boys can take some points off Haga. After all the technical failures Spies has suffered he needs all the help he can get.

Remember guys airwaves havent used the wsb pirelli tyres, id say that gives the factory boys an advantage!! i think yamaha could take the first three places.. 3rd Ellison 2nd/1st... camier v spies, elbows vs elbows both very aggressive.. please no team orders, would love to see the ben at his best to win!

What?! Team orders?!

This is not F1. I'm a Spies fan, but I would very upset if I see someone pull aside and let Spies win or gain a position. This is bike racing. This isn't even the end of the season. If that happens at this point in the season than Yamaha should be fined heavily. I think wild cards have the right to fight it out with the big boys and show the world what they have.

If Ducati can let Fabrizio slug it out with Haga all season than Yamaha can let the wildcards fight it out for one race.

Unlike F1 where team orders are banned I don't think they are in WSB - having said that I don't think Spies will need team orders!

Camier has been getting poor starts this year - he can't afford to do that in WSB.

Ellison has been making the starts, but I would be surprised if he can maintain a fast enough pace till the end. The WSB races are longer than BSB races and Ellison normally gets caught and passed before the end in BSB.

I think it will be between Haga, Spies and Fab for the podium with Rea, Haslam, Byrne and Camier battling for the top non-podium places

Team orders - I hope not, not a lot of point in racing if they are going to slow down and let the others by.

The Brits had a couple of podiums last year I think we can do the same again this year if not better.

If Ben won because of team orders it would spoil the great world-wide reputation he's building
