The ****ers in the UK wont have too much to Flap their Lips about after this past weekends Domination at Donnington by Ben Spies on the Yamaha...Spies came on Conquered England, onto the next race in Brno.
Kevin Schwantz said it best during a Race in Italy where the commentator stated,is Ben Spies as good as # 34 ? Schwantz reply,"He could be even better".
He is Motivated and his Learning Curve is Amazing.
On a Fitness level,no one is more Fit than Ben, Consistent and Smart.....

Also at that Valencia test Simoncelli was 1sec/lap off Nakano's time. And Nakano is obviously rubbing it in Ben's face right? right?

I try not to let some of the idiots on this forum get to me. But those that say Ben can't ride top 4 or 5 in MotoGP are just stupid.
Last year in MotoGP he got a 14th (in the rain) at Donington and a 6th at Indy. In WSBK 7 or 8 Pole positions at tracks he's never seen before. Winning half the races.
This guy screams of being SPECIAL.........

Can you image any combination of Rossi, Stoner, Lorenzo, and Pedrosa having a barbeque together?

Ben is the best superbike rider in the world there is no dout about that. but i cant see him geting a ride with yamaha in moto gp. it would not make sence when they have VR and JL, what is important to the manufacture is world championship, and ben could win wsb every other year, yamaha will do everything in ther power to keep him on a superbike.

DJ - I think Herve would disagree with you. Though I do agree Maio is doing everything possible to keep his "favorite son" with the team.

All they can do is offer him a large sum of money to stay, if he decides he want's to go to MotoGP they must try and facilitate him there as well, he is to good a rider to let go. Look at what Honda does to secure Simoncelli, same will happen with Bautista. These guys are in demand and they are willing to pay up, crdit crunch or not.

I've been reading most of the comments in here and couldnt figured out for the life of me why the English people dislike American racer???

I guess it's because when Ben leave WSBK to go MotoGP, they'll (the Brits) will have no one to compare him (Spies) with.

Oh I forgot they're (the Brits) are also in the EU, so they can cheer for a few Italians, some Spainards and a few more Australian* (*not in the EU.

Would someone please tell when was the last time the British have a champoin in the GP???? way back in the 80s????

Thanks, Cherios!

Look, cheering for a flag is expected to some degree in a 'World Championship' but a border does not make a champion. If this were true then I guess (to the best of my knowledge) an American Indian would need to be crowned in order for an 'North American 'ie' USA world champion as most folks in the US are decended from peoples somewhere other than the continental United States. So, with this bit of gene pool understanding, cheer and trash talk your rider and be politely proud of your flag. :)

You may now return to your regularly scheduled programming.....
